Bernard has successfully represented corporations, professional entities, and individuals as lead counsel in a broad range of complex business and products liability litigations. These have included cases involving mass torts, professional liability, breach of contract, insurance disputes, partnership accounting, and intellectual property rights.

Bernard received a J.D. in 1996 from Fordham University School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Urban Law Journal, and a B.A. in English, magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He was Editor-in-Chief of NYLitigator from 2005 through 2007 and is on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Bernard is admitted to the Bars in New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.
