Baylor Law Review article on first-refusal rights under Texas law cites extensively to a seminal article authored by LDE partner Bernard Daskal. The Baylor article—Wise, Szygenda, Lillard, First-Refusal Rights Under Texas Law, Baylor Law Review, 435-520 (Vol. 62:2:2010)—is written by three partners of Lillard Wise Szygenda PLLC in Dallas, Texas. The Daskal article, Rights of First Refusal and the Package Deal, was published in the Fordham Urban Law Journal in 1995, and since then has been quoted in judicial opinions of state and federal judges throughout the country, as well as in law review articles.
